A Gift for Dad

For Father's Day this year I made this for my dear Dad:

A giftbag filled with his favourite sweets, and a matching card. If you want to know more about what supplies I've used, I suggest you click your way to Pyssloteket's blog where you can find all information about that!

Of course Kajsa wanted to give something to her grandfather, too, so she made these:

One for grandpa and one for her. ;-) Don't you just LOVE the die from Technique Tuesday??

Take care!

A Colourful Goodbye

I've decided to say goodbye to Scrapptorget and its wonderful designers - sad to go, but I've had a great time with the girls and I appreciate that! My colourful goodbye is this:

We're closing in on 2014, and I know it's going to be a great year - I have a good gut feeling about it! :D Looking forward to lots of crafting among other things.

Take care!

Christmas Inspiration

I found some unpublished creations - all very Christmassy - so I thought it might be a good idea to show them today! :) Here in Sweden we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, so today I'm spending time with my dear family, having lovely food and watching my daughter's eyes sparkle as she meets Santa Claus and is given her Christmas gifts.

With this I want to wish you all a

VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

Take care!

Project Life - n00b *)

During this autumn I've been tryning my wings on something new (for me) - Project Life. It's easy, fun and the result is great for my little girl to look through and us to talk about. She needs to develop her speech so this is a great way to practise!

I'll show you the two pages I've made so far - we'll see if I start from the beginning come 2014, or if I make an effort to gather som photos from the last months of 2013 - I don't want this project to be a "must-do". I want to keep creativity flowing! :D

It's mostly in Swedish, as you can see, but I think you get most of it even if you don't speak the language. :)

*) You know that a n00b is a beginner, right? :)

Take care!

Happy Girl

It's soon Christmas and I really long for sunshine and heat! Even though I appreciate making Christmas cards and buy and wrap Christmas presents, it can't measure up to having lovely weather, swimming in the ocean, having ice cream in the sunshine and constantly wearing sunglasses! ;-)

This page brings back memories of one of our lovely days at Gotland this summer - we had a brilliant time and Kajsa LOVED it:

For more information about what I've used and how I did the background - please visit Pyssloteket's blog

December 13 @ Scrapptorget

Today is my day to blog @ Scrapptorget, and today I'm showing my gingersnap dispenser, made from an empty Pringles container. I found the idea in Angelica's blog, and felt I had to try it myself!

Yesterday, celebrating my birthday, I served gingersnaps from this dispenser along with other goodies. How do you serve your gingersnaps - out of the box/biscuit tin or nicely arranged on a plate? Maybe you don't eat them at all? Well then, this idea works for other types of biscuits, too! ;-)

On Sunday I'll be back with another creation for Scrapptorget - something else for everyone with a sweet tooth...

Have a lovely day and take care!

The Adventures of Kajsa

A little more than a week ago I had a scrapbooking course @ Pyssloteket where I aimed to inspire my students to try clean & simple. My page wasn't finished during the course, but I finished it at home afterwards:

The patterned paper with a map pattern is really a Christmas themed paper, but I wanted to show you that it's absolutely ok to use Christmas papers for a summer themed layout as well! Look at this - doesn't the patterned papers go well together and with the adventure theme of the page? Sometimes I'd like to think i DO think out of the box a bit... ;-)

Of course you can find all the details here and the links to what supplies I've used.

Take care!

Advent Calendar @ ScrappTorget

In December ScrappTorget is hosting an advent calendar - every day we're showing something altered or some kind of home made decoration - all in the spirit of Christmas, of course!

So far I have contributed with a tag to put on a Christmas gift:

I used a manlia tag and covered it with Distress ink and acrylic paint before I decorated it with flowers, ribbon and letters. I will definitely have to make more of these, because it was a quick and fun project! :-)

Take care!

Birthday Card

Birthday cards are always good to have in store at home - I know I've said it before - and here's another one of my cards for you:

I've blogged this at Pyssloteket today, so if you want to know more, just go here. I've used some lovely Spellbinder dies and the patterned papers are from one of Kaisercraft's collections Base Coat. I just LOVE the wood backgrounds!!

Do you have any particular "must-do's" when you scrap or make cards? For years I've had this hang-up on Edge Scrapers, and I find it really hard NOT to use one on my creations. Sometimes I challenge myself, but it's soooo hard not to...

Take care!
