A Card with a Hug

A hug is always welcome, and a card with a hug is something you can send to someone wherever they are! This card is made for Hobbyworld, showing lovely flowers and patterned paper from Prima Marketing, a super cute stamp and mini roses from Marianne Design, and of course lovely dies from Spellbinders:

I also share an idea on how to use your paints - on this card I've used my Martha Stewart Craft paints to make some colour splashes. Please visit the Hobbyworld blog for short tutorial and list of supplies! :)

A Card for a Friend

Ok, you know that I like colour challenges - that's not news at all. This card is made for a challenge from a friend - the combo was pink, black, and white. Not very difficult, but even so not a combo I use a lot, so it was fun to create with those colours.

I made a card for a friend - always good to have in store - and I used lovely, lovely flowers from Petaloo, and gorgeous patterned paper from My Minds Eye. I love the combination of the distressed stars and the romantic flowers. The chalk theme is something I've fallen in love with, and there are so many things I want to create - time is not enough right now! :)

I hope that I could inspire you a little bit today - for the full list of supplies, please visit Pyssloteket's blog.

A Girly gift

A gift for someone who celebrates confirmation (or a gift for any occasion) is fun to cosumize for the person who is about to recieve it. Today's creation is a gift bag for a girly girl; a gift bag with a girly gift.

I have used pastel colours considering the time of year, and pink because I wanted to make the gift bag a bit more girly.

Confirmation card

Confirmation time is closing in here in Sweden and today's creation is a Confirmation card. I wanted to keep it fairly white, but still with a touch of colour, so I painted the lavender roses with white and painted a few punched out butterflies with Martha Stewart craft paint. I really love that about having paints at home - you can always paint your embellishments to suit your creation - you don't always  have the right colour embellishments at home, right?

More inspiration and list of suppies for this project can be found in the Hobbyworld blog.

Elsa - dear friend

This is Elsa, a very dear friend of mine - AND sister-in-law - she just happen to hook up with my brother... ;-) I guess she likes our family.

She's smart, beautiful, and so much fun to be with! You wouldn't believe half of the things we've been up to together... *teehee*

Painted mugs

I had some old chipped mugs that I wanted to throw away, but I needed to replace them with new ones. These mugs I found at a local store - just 5 Skr a piece! I bought a bunch and used my easy to use Martha Stewart craft stencils and craft paint to make them more personal. This is how some of them turned out:

Easter tag

I've made a tag that could go well with a flower or a gift to give away for Easter. Maybe to someone who doesn't eat sweets, but still deserves a little something?

List of supplies can be found in Hobbyworld's blog, so hop on over there if you want to know more!

April Challenge @ Hobbyworld

I realise that there is a lot of Easter creations in my blog at the moment, but Easter is soon here and this year I really felt like doing Easter cards, eggs, etc. - and I haven't before. Today's post shows my inspiration for this month's challenge @ Hobbyworld - April's theme is EASTER - surprise! ;-)

This month we want you to create a project on the theme Easter - check out the other designer's fabulous creations if you want some more inspiration!

The challenge runs from April 1st through April 21st, and your project has to be made specifically for our challenge and can not be combined with another challenge.

Add your project with the blue inLinkz button at the end of the challenge blog post @ Hobbyworld. Make sure that you link directly to your entry, not to the entire blog - that way it's easier for us to find and admire your entries!

We will choose three winners and they will be announced at the end of April. This month Marianne Design are giving away the yummy prizes!

Take care!
