8 is enough!

I've been totally inspired by three girls - they have all tried a challenge called 8 is enough and I want to try it too! The whole challenge is about choosing 8 materials from your stash, and scrap 4 layouts (or more) with only this material. Cardstock, pens, and fonts are all free to use however you'd like, but everything else on your layouts has to be from your 8 is enough-kit.

This is my first (will there be more?) kit:

* 3 patterned papers from Webster's Pages
* My QK tool (my cutting mat for the Epic is broken, so I have to use this instead)
* 1 sheet of labels from Basic Grey
* A jar of black and grey buttons
* A black pearl swirl from Prima
* A box with Prima Country Elegance flowers (mixed colours)

Check out these girls for more inspiration on this challenge:

I'll be back with my creations - soon, I hope! ;)

Let's SCRAP!!!

Giddy-up, Dad!

Kajsa is happily playing with her dad - and I've been playing with the gorgeous patterned papers from Maja Design's collection "Sommartid" (Summer time). I love these colourful papers - they are PERFECT to use as a background instead of using cardstock!

Check our Cards of Maria's shop for the whole collection of patterned papers - you can find them under "Nyheter" (What's new in the shop).

Have a lovely time - I hope your summer is as great as mine!

Party time!

Today it's time to celebrate David, DH, who turns 40 on Tuesday. We're preparing the garden, have the fridge full of food and cake, and we're awaiting our guests... Hoping for really nice weather today!

Hopefully Kajsa will be in her very best mood - looking somewhat like this, perhaps?

One of the cards I made when visiting Annika in England.

Now, have a great weekend!

Absolutely Fabulous!

This is one of my very best friends; Annika:

This layout is for Brunkullan with the lovely patterned papers from Scrap Within Reach - I love them!! I love the patterns and the muted colours and the double sides - all sooo yummy to scrap with!

Now I'm off to continue cleaning the house and bulldozing through the garden - everything needs to be ready for tomorrow. I'm also making two of these...

Take care and have a lovely summer's day!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Finally I'm here with a fresh update - this one with a card where I used a stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - aren't they just heaps of fun?!

Genevieve from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

I made this card for Brunkullan - the text reads: "Towards New Adventures" - the image is coloured with Copics and the patterned paper is from Scrap Within Reach - I love the colours in this collection (Cambridge). The big roses I've made myself after a tutorial I found on YouTube - they are so much fun to make!!! :D

Now, I'm off to continue cleaning the house - DH turns 40 on Tuseday, so we're having a garden party on Saturday. I need to bake cakes, clean the house, get to the store for grocery shopping, and... and...

Well, I'll have an ice cream before I start. ;)

Take care!!

Feeling hot, hot, hot!

The weather in Sweden has been really summery since I got back home from England - we're spending time in the shade, eating loads of ice cream. Since I haven't had time to edit my photos of new layouts and cards, I'll give you a picture of Kajsa for now:

Mum's 88:an is da shit!

In this photo she took MY ice cream and left hers for me... I guess she has the same taste as her mum. ;-)

Bear with me - I'll post some layouts and cards soon! :)

Challenge #11 with the Lipstick Chicks

This month's lift challenge over at XOXO will give you lots and lots of different creations to scraplift - the girls have made gorgeous things for you to get inspired by. Just hop on into XOXO and have a look!

I wanted to do something different than a layout this month, so I decided to make a box:

I just looooove my sewing machine - it adds that extra touch when you can add some stitching to your projects.

Well, to get back to the challenge over at XOXO - there is of course a great prize that you can win if you enter with one or more scraplifts - check this out:

The generous donor of this kit called "My Summer Vacation" is Jessica Stott, owner of Lucky Girl Crafts. Wouldn't you want to win that gorgeous and colourful kit?! I would!!!

And remember - the more scraplifts you make, the more chances you have to win the kit! ;)

Good luck and have fun!

Back from England

Hey everyone! I'm back!

I've had a MARVELLOUS time in England with Annika and Malin, but of course it feels good to be back home - I've missed little Kajsa and my husband.

Of course I have a whole lot of new stuff to show you, but there is some photographing to be done first, then some Photoshop and some of the layouts are DT-work, so they need to be posted in the right places before I can show them here.

Also, I couldn't fit them in my suitcase on my way home, so Annika will have to send them by mail to me... ;) I took pictures of some of the layouts at Annika's place, so I'll see if they can be used, so please bear with me. I'll show you soon... ;)

Now, I have to work - my vacation is over and I have 1½ week of work before I'm off for another 3 weeks. It's great to divide your time up - then it feels MORE! :D

Tadaaaa!
