Dora's face

This is aDORAble Dora:

She was just a little puppy when the pic was taken - now she's a big girl - still as mischievous... The layout was one of the creations I made for the Summer Crop at Scrap-Perra's message board - the challenge was FACE. ;-) What better than that cute little face?

There's a Doctor in the House

Not so long ago my DEAREST friend, Annika, graduated from medical school. She is now a REAL doctor!!

I'm so proud of her - and the graduation ceremony was FAB! I'm really glad I had the opportunity to be there and see it!

The layout was made for one of the challenges in Scrap-Perra's Summer Crop.

Butterflies

A card with butterflies -  stamped with Distress Markers:

I just love how you can colour directly onto your stamp and make it so much more alive!! Now I have to learn how to colour stamped motifs as well - with a water brush and all that jazz... Not my strongest side of crafting, I can tell you that much!!

There are loads of girls out there who are AMAZINGLY talented - just take a look at the tutorial in Asamias blog - it makes me think I can actually LEARN how to... ;-) Thank you, Åsa, for that tutorial!!

A Gift Box

A little gift box to give away to someone who deserves something extra:

I didn't put any text on the box, just because I wanted to be able to add that when I know who's going to have it. ;-) Sometimes you need to have a few cards and gift boxes ready for those moments when you realise that you don't have the time to do it.

Go and check out Pyssloteket's blog if you want to know the details and materials used for this box!

Grandfather

This summer my grandfather passed away and I created this layout about him:

Thinking about you, grandpa - I hope you are well, wherever you are...

Chilling on the Balcony

Hello there!

I've been pretty occupied this summer - toilet training with Kajsa, a 10-day-trip to England, friends & family - but now I'm at home again, and life is almost back to normal. The only thing that's not normal is that I'm still on summer holidays!! :-)

This layout describes parts of my summer - chilling on my balcony:

I've made this layout for the Summer Crop at Scrap-Perra's and I still have several more things to show you from that crop! :-)

Take care!

Almost 5 years...

This blog has existed for almost 5 years now - I started it at the beginning of October 2007. Time sure flies!

At that point Kajsa was still in my tummy and I was happily married. It's strange how things change and turn out in the end. I'm happy about my little girl and I'm so grateful for my friends and family who are always there to support me.

I do not update my blog as often as I want to, but I guess it's a good thing - I'm busy living my new life, trying to make the most out of it. My crafting still has a place in my life, not just as big as it used to have, I guess... ;)

More updates with crafty creations are on their way, but right now it's Kajsa time!

Take care!

Mother and Son

Today I'll show you yet another layout made for the Summer Crop at Scrap-Perra's - this one is created after a sketch drawn by Webbmoster Helene - a sketch I really liked! I've turned the sketch a bit, as you can see:

The layout is about Kajsa's cousin Julius and his mother, one of my best friends, Elsa. I just love this photo of them together! <3

Bike wine

I'm participating in a Summer Crop over at Scrap-Perra's message board this summer, and I've made a few creations that I thought I'd share with you. First up is a layout which is a lift from one of Umenorskan's layouts. Check out her blog for lots of inspiration!

My layout features one of my favourite wines - Cono Sur - which I thought could be fun scrapping about. I almost always make layouts about people (mostly Kajsa for some reason...), so I found it refreshing with a bit of a change.

Take care and be on the lookout for more crop creations! :)

Kajsa and her grandmother

Kajsa in her grandmother's lap - one of the best places, she seems to think. She absolutely ADORES her grandmother and grandfather, and we spend a lot of time with them. This photo is taken in their home, the place were I grew up. Kajsa is drawing and she is deeply concentrated... ;)

Materials and some more about the layout can be found in Pyssloteket's blog.

Thank you for stopping by - I really appreciate it! Have a wonderful summer!

Take care!
