Greetings from Gotland!

Right now I'm on vacation with my daugther Kajsa - we're on Gotland visiting good friends. When I prepared this post I thought it was a brilliant idea to post this layout with a picture from last year's vacation on Gotland. The picture is taken almost exactly a year ago - yesterday was a year ago to be exact! :) 

Since the page is about my little princess I've used some patterned papers and embellishments from Prima Marketing's collection Princess - I'm SO clever, am I not? ;)

A Prima Page

Since I work as a teacher, my summer holidays have started now. Unfortunately the weather hasn't been that warm and summer-y yet, so I have taken some time by my craft table. Gifts part 2

Min mamma ville ha två presentförpackningar och det enda önskemålet var att den enas skulle gå i turkost - den andra fick jag fria händer med. Jag stansade ut små mjölkkartonger och dekorerade dem med bland annat fina papper från My Mind's Eye och blommor från Prima och Marianne Design. Jag älskar de här små askarna - det är så kul att dekorera dem!

My mother wanted me to make two gift boxes and the only wish was that I used turquoise for one of them - the other one I could use any colours I wanted to. I cut out two small milk cartons and embellished them with lovely patterned papers from My Mind's Eye and flowers from Prima and Marianne Design among other things. I really love these small boxes - it's so much fun to embellish them!

Gifts part 1

Ibland får jag beställningar från vänner och familj - de vill att jag ska göra presentförpackningar, kort eller andra saker åt dem, och jag älskar verkligen det! Vanligtvis har de någon form av önskemål som t.ex. "hon gillar rosa, segelbåtar och kaffe" eller "jag vill ha något romantiskt", men ibland får jag fria händer att göra vad jag vill.

Idag kommer det två inlägg med "beställningsjobb" från mig - ett med en handskriven tavla och ett med två presentförpackningar som ser ut som söta små mjölkpaket. Först ut är tavlan - en enkel tavla med svart och vit cardstock som bas, texten är en kalligrafistil som heter Old English. Med en vit, enkel ram så blir det riktigt "clean & simple" och jag hoppas att mottagarna av denna gåva blir glada!

Sometimes friends and family ask me to make gift bags, cards and other things for them, and I really love to do that! Usually they have some guidelines such as "she loves pink, sailboats and coffee" or "I want something romantic", but every once in a while I can do pretty much what I'd like to.

Today I have two posts with creations made for friends and family to show - one with a handwritten text in a frame and one with two small gift boxes that look like milk cartons. First of all is the framed text - simply white and black cardstock in a simple white frame, the handwritten text is a calligraphy font called Old English. The frame, the text, and the black-and-white makes it very cleand & simple, and I hope the recipient of this gift will be happy with it!

YEY - art journaling

My poor art journal has been lonely for quite some time, so a while ago I took it out and played with some Prima Marketing color bloom spray. This resulted in a happy page with some bright colours:

I sprayed the color bloom spray in many layers, dabbed off some excess colour, sprayed some more, dried it with my heat tool, sprayed some more - yeah, you get it, don't you? Love the effect of colour drops and running colour! Love color bloom sprays!! :D
