January Challenge at Tingtura

I've made a card for Tingtura's January challenge - their sketch looks like this:


And my take is this:


I wanted to challenge myself even more, so I just put my hand into my bin of scraps and pulled out a piece of cardstock that became the base of the card - PINK! It was fun, and I really need to use all those scraps of cardstock and paper I have lying around. Not just buy new stuff all the time... ;)

Saffron bun

These pictures are from the Lucia celebration in December - Kajsa is munching on a saffron bun - a favourite. She takes out the raisins, though, just like her mother... ;) I had no "B" so I had to use an 8 instead. It works out pretty ok, doesn't it?


The weekend is close now... I'm off to Ärla for a crop, so we'll see what I have to show you when I get back home! :D

Kajsan's Sketch

Kajsan drew a bunch of gorgeous and inspiring sketches this weekend at Magda's and I think I used them all. I couldn't resist them!! :D This one is with an old photo of Kajsa - she's but 6 months old in the picture. ♥


The green paper in the background is actually a piece of packaging that had Prima flowers on it. ;) I've seen it been used here and there - Zarah has done it, for one, so it's not at all my idea from the start.

I was also happy to use some of my Thickers - I have a LARGE stash of them, and I need to use them before the glue on them dries up. It probably has on some of them - lucky me I have Scotch Strong & Precise! ;)

Little Miss Mischievous

The colours are a bit crazy, but with this darn non-light up here in the north, I can't do better than that. I know - Photoshop is great, but sometimes I can't master it the way I'd like. And sometimes the photos are too crappy to make perfect. ;)

Colour challenge at Magda's

This past weekend Magda's had some challenges which I participated in - one of them is this colour challenge where I was supposed to use brown, turquoise, and white. I decided that the bling could pass as white, and that was okay:

The stamp used on this card is one of Tim Holtz lovely texture stamps. Particularly this one is my favourite - it's really useful!

Kajsa 2 years old

Today is my little girl's second birthday, and I've made her this card:


She can do whatever she wants with it - tear it apart or put it neatly somewhere; or play with it! She usually wants me to take all my cards down from the shelf (where I keep them) and then she likes to place them on the table, next to each other. Nice and neat. My little girl. ♥

How did 2 years pass so quickly?

This Saturday...

...is the day my dear daughter turns 2, but it's also the 40th birthday of a friend of the family. On his 38th birthday he said the best gift was Kajsa being born - and of course that was a very sweet thing to say! This year I've made him a card - I tried to make it a little bit more suitable for a man:


I've used one of my new Tim Holtz stamps for the card, as well as some corrugated cardboard, some lace and KaiserPearls. The patterned paper is October Afternoon. I ♥ OA, as you all might know by now. ;)

This cool picture of our friend Nicke was taken by Petra Hall on the day of our wedding party. It was extremely easy to scrap and I used some new papers and decorations for the layout:


Unfortunately the flash was reflected in the photograph, but that's something I'll have to live with. ;)
