First post of 2016 and a challenge

This year's first post - welcome 2016 - may the year be a happy and creative one! 

I've just finished a card that I've made for the current challenge @ Scrap & ting - the challenge was to create something from a bingo card:

Top left to right: sewing machine - coffee stains - borrowed

Mid left to right: new - worn - wood

Bottom left to right: newspaper clipping - lace - shimmer

I've chosen new - worn - wood and I made this card:

I've used my new map stamp, I made the edges of the map look worn, and I added a little wooden aeroplane to complete my card. :) I coloured the map using my Distress Markers, and I attached the image to a black card base. Simple, yet not too simple.
