More Christmas

This is the third of my winning contributions to the Christmas crop at pyssel.net - this was a layout made with some restrictions according to materials - some dos and some don'ts. I scrapped some photos of Kajsa posing as a little Santa girl:

Waiting for Santa Claus

My daugther does not yet understand the concept of a man in a white beard who comes around to give nice little children Christmas presents - but I'm SURE she'll enjoy the presents when she gets them tomorrow... ;)

This is one of the layouts I made for the Christmas crop at pyssel.net and I was so lucky as to recieve enough votes to win this particular challenge! I'm really proud!! :D

Take care and have a great Christmas!

Tickled Pink 12 Days of Christmas Finale

I've missed almost everything - glad I can join in even if it's at the end of the 12 days... ;)

Check it out here!!! :D

Masking Stamps

Masking is so much fun - I wonder why I don't do it more often?! I just have to do it more from now on - maybe a scrappy New Year's resolution? *teehee*

I made this card for a Christmas crop over at pyssel.net and I actually won that challenge!! I'm really happy and proud about that!

I've used Distress Inks in various colours and stamped on watercolour paper with stamps from Tim Holtz and Inkido. Decorated with some Baker's twine, a few buttons and a couple of mini roses, and the card is done! :)

Now, me and Kajsa have the holidays off, and I hope that I'll get loads of time to scrap... ;)

Take care!

Baby Card

This card is made for a little girl called Laila. It's for a colleague's daughter, and another colleague asked me to make it - and I gladly did!!

White and dark brown cardstock, patterned paper from Ladybug & friends (I think), flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, dies from Magnolia and Papertrey Ink, stamps from Stempelglede (Grunge Collection), ticket from Pink Paislee, and teeny tiny alpha stickers from Kaisercraft. I've also inked the edges using Distress Ink Pumice Stone and Walnut Stain, and on the edges of the clouds I've lined with a Sakura gelly roll Stardust, but it doesn't show so well on the picture.

Christmas is closing in and everything is ready here - just the cleaning up to do now, but I'll wait a couple of days - otherwise I'll have to do it all over again. ;)

Take care!

XYZ

There's a new challenge over at Candy Shoppe Designs and of course I've made a little something for it to inspire you! This is my little rascal Kajsa - the photo is a bit blurry, but I don't think it matters, since she's a girl often on the go:

This is what Lynnette, aka Cherry Lolita, says about this challenge:

This challenge is being held in honor of all of my Lollipop Girls. It's significant to our latest happenings in that......it's the ending of the alphabet and the ending of this DT term. XYZ....these are a few of the letters in the alphabet that get used less often......so I KNOW you already have lots of them to use from your stash!

Try to come up with an interesting way to use these characters in your next creation. All of them or just one of them. Here are some ideas.....You could change the word "Extreme" into X-treme or create something about your last visit to the Zoo maybe. There are lots of uses you can get out of these letters "x, y and z." Think of something and don't forget to link up your creations by December 31, 2010 to our Linky party above.

Submissions must be newly made between December 1-31st.

And HERE's what you can win if you've participated in any of the December challenges:

Isn't that the yummiest set of goodies? :D Check out what the other DT members have created for this challenge - maybe that'll get your mojo going?!

Take care!

Tickled Pink + Stempelglede = a Christmas card

Hello sweet little Evie! - one of Tickled Pink's Little Christmas Lolitas:

A gorgeous stamp in combination with a text stamp from Stempelglede became a Christmas card in my craft room. I coloured the image with Copics and decorated with flowers, punch outs, ribbon, lace and gorgeous patterned paper from Maja Design's latest collection. A Superhero Challenge

Have you checked out the new challenge over at Candy Shoppe Designs? If not - do it! This time it's all about superheroes, and I've made a page about my brother, whom I think is a superdad:

Feel free to interpret the challenge in what way it pleases you - as long as it is about superheroes of some sort. Check out the other DT's pages over at CSD - their work is fantastic!

Join us and have some fun with this challenge!

Flower Delivery

Very nice package from Wild Orchid Crafts arrived today:

Spring feelings? :D

Santa Claus

This gorgeous stamp of Santa Claus signed Tim Holtz is so easy to use! You can use it as a background stamp if you use lighter inks, or you can even colour it if you want to. I chose to keep it somewhat neutral with brown ink on kraft cardstock, but it's still the focus of the card:

I've used flowers and mini roses, a bling swirl, one of the gorgeous baubles I won a couple of weeks ago on a crop, a Nellie Snellen die (the circle on which the Santa is stamped) and my lovely Magnolia border die (Old Swedish Lace). I don't remember what patterned paper I used, I'm afraid...

This picture is actually featured in the blog Blueness today - I purchased the little "stand" in which I place my cards when I photograph them sometimes. I'm not sure what that little stand is called in English - maybe someone knows? Anyhow - the owner, Åsa, asked me if she could show one of my cards with the stand, and of course I said yes! Go and check the blog and the shop - there are lots of vintage goodies to be found there!

Take care!
