Lego!

Kajsa is getting really good at using her Lego blocks:

She goes on and on until she can't reach any higher. It's so cute...

I haven't forgotten about the blog - it has just been a bit busy, and almost everything I've crafted is for challenges and designteams, so I can't show you just yet. ;)

Christmas matchbox

This matchbox has been lying around for a while and I finally took a picture of it so I could show you. I've used materials from Brunkullan - flowers from Prima, papers from Graphic45 and a gorgeous brad from YouDo. The letters are QK Haunted and the picture of the children is from a patterned paper from 3ndy papir - absolutely beautiful papers if you like vintage:

I have some more christmas cards lined up for you, so welcome back tomorrow for more updates!

On this card, anyway:

This one is especially made for Brunkullan - isn't the stamp adorable?

Some more Christmas

Oh yes, I've been told that I could no longer call myself the Grinch. What?! They say that if you've made as many Christmas cards as I have so far this year, you no longer qualify. Huh? I don't get it... *hehe*

Well, in that case I might as well show you some more Christmas projects, especially made for Brunkullan:

...and I have to admit that there are MORE on my list of things to blog - more Christmas related things... I might not be the Grinch, after all?

Take care!

A Sunny Thank You

This card is made for Cards of Maria, and I've used one of my precious sunflowers on it.

If there is anyone who knows where I can get my hands on more of these little beauties, please write me a comment, and give me a link if you have one! I'd be so happy if I found them somewhere! I need MORE! ;)

Have a nice Sunday!

Journaling Jar in Green

So, this is part two of my journaling jar story right now. This one comes in green:

My mother came by this afternoon to pick them both up, and she was very pleased with them - that's a good start! :)

I'm not entirely happy with some details, but it's nothing to get upset over, so I'll let it go now. I just have to hope that the recipient (Monica) is going to be pleased with it. That's all that matters.

Tonight is a very quiet night at home - husband is downstairs in his den, working on his music, and I just put Kajsa to bed and am hoping she'll sleep tight so mummy can have some time with her scrap toys. With some new dies from Quickutz new Christmas set "Santa's Workshop" (and extras) there is lots of inspiration in my head... ;)

I've also put in an order at Wild Orchid Crafts, which I hope will arrive on Monday or Tuesday, since it was shipped a couple of days ago from England. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, since my flower garden needs a refill (but not if you ask Karin or Stina...). ;)

Well, I'd better make use of my precious scrap time - so I'll see you later!
Tadaaaa!

Journaling Jar in Blue

My mother's friend asked if I could make two journaling jars for her friends - of course, I said! One of them is ready, the other one is "under construction". ;)

I'm not a blue scrapper, but I had orders to make something with blue, so it was a challenge for me. I was happy with the result - maybe because it was a mix of blue and brown? Anyhow - I have to finish jar number 2 tonight/tomorrow, since they are to be delivered tomorrow afternoon. The orders for the second journaling jar are that I have to use green. That shouldn't be a problem. :)

Take care and have a great weekend!

Envelope card

There has been a cyber crop over at pyssel.net just recently - with lots of fun challenges - and I managed to make ONE contribution to one of the challenges. An envelope card. It was my first try and it was SO much fun - I'll definitely make more of those in the future.

This is my take on the challenge:

The bonus is that I won the challenge, with the closest voting there can be! There was only ONE vote that separated my card from A-C's gorgeous envelope card, and it was close all the way through! Thanks, hun, for the race!! :D

Thanks for the visit and take care!

Care for a sketch?

There's a sketch challenge over at Cards of Maria's blog if you feel like participating this month. You have until November 27 to submit your work, and I hope that the sketch might inspire you - I'm the one who has drawn it! :)

This is my take on the sketch:

"Happy Birthday"

So - run along now and join the fun!! You can create a card, a LO or whatever you feel like, as long as you follow the sketch.

Have a nice Sunday - here in Sweden it's Father's Day today, so we're going to my dad for some dinner tonight, and I'm off to my scrap table to make him a card now!

Take care!

Another Christmas Card

I found a christmas card that I haven't shown you yet:

"Merry Christmas"

The tag is coloured and stamped using Tim Holtz products, and the letters are covered in Stickles Rock Candy, from the very same genious TH. ;) The letters are QK Haunted - my favourite QK alpha. Flowers are from Prima Marketing.

Since I never went to the Thursday crop this week (had a bad headache and was way too tired) I don't have that many new things to show you, but I'm working on it! Me and my husbands older daughter (11 yrs) have been a bit crafty though. We'll see what I come up with... ;)

Have a wonderful weekend!

New stamps

I bought some new stamps on the craft's fair in October, but I haven't shown you what I've done with some of them. This card is a mini - good to have, perhaps for a bunch of flowers or a small gift.

The text says "Congratulations!"

There will probably be another update tomorrow - I've lots of things yet to show you! ;-)

The cheeks!!!

A picture from last Christmas - my little sweetie's cheeks are the cutest there are!!! I just had to scrap that photo - and I did it with a patterned paper background, which is something I've done perhaps once before! Scary, but fun!!

Tomorrow is scrap night again, so I'll probably have some more stuff to show on Friday! ;-)

Take care, guys!!

A friend turning 40

One of our friends turned 40 this last weekend. I sent him a card, since we don't see them so often, and I couldn't help myself - I had to tease him a bit:

I hope he liked it and that he had a great birthday with his family!

Sweetie

Time for a layout, don't you think?

My daughter Kajsa - of course the sweetest girl in the world, according to me! ;)

A kiss for Christmas?

Well, the story behind this card is that I accidentally put a spot of red/pink on this sweet little girl's face, so I had to repair it. I gave her lips to send someone a kiss with:

The card was made as a challenge - I had to follow a sketch and I had to use a number of different materials, for example at least 6 leaves etc. The leaves part was hard because I hardly ever use them on my cards - so, GOOD challenge! Thanks Annika, darling! ;)

Take care!
