Colouring at Scrapptorget

We've had a colouring tutorial period over at Scrapptorget, and if your Swedish is ok you can check out my Copics tutorial and the other tutorials in Scrapptorget's blog.

There are tutorials on how to colour with Distress Markers, watercolour pencils, Inktense, ProMarkers, etc. - and there's also a very good tutorial on how to mask your stamps and make a gorgeous background (something I will try as soon as I have the opportunity)! :)

Hopefully you can find something useful - even though you're not fluent in Swedish ;) - and there are lots of pictures to look at.

The stamp I coloured with Copics was this:

In a couple of days I'll show you a card I made with this coloured motif. :)

Take care!

A Little Love?

Valentine's Day is not as big in Sweden as it is in other countries, such as for example USA - but it has grown over the last 20 years or so. More people celebrate their loved ones on this day, and I decided to make a card that can be given to a friend, a loved one, or someone else who deserves this message:

I thought it was going to be difficult to make something out of papers with a lot of pink, white, and black - but I made it! This colour combo is difficult - even though I like all the colours...

If you are interested in what I used for this card, feel free to visit Pyssloteket's blog.

Take care!

Exactly 5 years ago...

...this little lady was born:

Happy birthday, Kajsa - my sunshine, my princess, my love and joy!

Homemade background

A couple of days ago I blogged this birtday card in Pyssloteket's blog. Instead of using patterned papers I made my own background with mists, masks/stencils and acrylic paint - SO much fun!

Big congratulations

If you want to know exactly what I've used, you can find everything here! :)

Thanks for visiting. Take care!

LillBlomman's Sketch January

Today it's time to show you what I've created for LillBlomman Skissar - a sketch challenge blog with the most amazing sketches! I'm always inspired by them, but I rarely have time to create something... BUT - this time I made it! A layout with my little daughter in focus - she's out on her first pair of skis, and I think it was her second time ever on skis.

Without further ado:

Now, I'm really looking forward to what the rest of the year has in store from LillBlomman Skissar - I can't wait to see what she has planned for us!! :D

Take care!

Vintage card for Kajsa

My daughter is turning 5 soon, and she's very into princesses and fairies and things like that at the moment. I thought it was a good idea to make her a card like this - also meant for the vintage challenge on Mollys Scrapbooking's blog. Today is the last day to participate, so this will be my last contribution:

Somehow I didn't make it pink, even though I know that Kajsa likes that colour - maybe it all was goint to  be too sugar sweet, I don't know? Anyway - I just LOVE the stamps from Saturated Canary, don't you?!

Now, time for bed - work tomorrow!

Take care,

A glass of bubbly

I've made this page for a challenge on Mollys Scrapbooking's blog - a challenge where you were supposed to be inspired by a picture:

The twist was that nothing could be straight - that is a challenge for me!! ;) But - I'm always up for a challenge, and I concentrated on the colours and used a couple of masks when I created, and this is what I came up with:

I've used Dylusions to spray through the masks, and to make drops of colour over the photos and the background. I just love to play with colours like this - it makes me happy! :D

Take care!

Altered matchbox

Here we go again - yet another creation for the crop over at Mollys Scrapbooking - an altered matchbox:

I wasn't able to get the Stickles show on camera, but it's there - all over the flowers! ;) I'm not sure to whom I'll give this matchbox - we'll see. Maybe I'll keep it for myself as a reminder that I should learn to love myself! :)

Now, I'm in a flow of creativity, but I'll have to restrict myself and take care of my little Kajsa first of all. We've played a lot of games and been shopping today, among other things. Tonight she wanted to do some painting, so we could be crafty together for a little while. This is what it looked like when she joined me:

Well, Kajsa is in bed and I have no excuses not to continue my creative journey, right...? ;)

Take care!

A Day in December

I have created a page using a sketch from Mollys Scrapbooking - they are  hosting a cybercrop now and there are 7 lovely challenges to participate in. I'm going to try and do them ALL because I'm so inspired at the moment - I'm very happy I'm still on holiday! :D

Ok, this is the sketch (picture borrowed from Mollys Scrapbooking):

...and this is my take on the sketch:

Hopefully there will be more to show in the nearest future - I have a few projects that I've started on, just need to finish them... ;)

For this page I have used patterned papers from Studio Calico's collection Darling Dear - GORGEOUS papers!! :D I have some more of them to play with, and I'll show you more later!! :)

Take care!

Ha det gott!

Friendly Card for ST

I will kick off the year with a card made for Scrapptorget - a card with an image coloured with Distress Markers. I love my DMs - as long as you have a really good watercolour paper, it's fun to colour, and the more you practise the more you learn! Two of my colouring masters are Åsa - Scraphorse and Rimna - I constantly check their blogs and try to learn how to colour as beautifully as they do. :) Thanks girls for all the inspiration!

Now, I'm full of inspiration and I look forward to a creative year - both together with the girls at Scrapptorget and the team for Pyssloteket. Let's go girls!! :D

Take care!
