Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #26

New week, new challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge - FLOWERS!

I've used one of the cute Lil Pinkette Tom Boyz - love them all because they are so cute and so much fun to colour. I've coloured this one with Copics and decorated the card with plenty of mini roses, rosebuds and bling swirls. I've also used my new Tim Holtz die - Tattered Banners - I LOVE it!! :D

Now, take care and have a lovely weekend!

Tea Party

This card is my third contribution to Svensk Scrapbooking's Midsummer Crop. It's over now, so we're just waiting for the results - exciting! The card was for a challenge to make an invitation to a summer party:

I like tea, so why not a tea party?

Take care!

My Dad's Boss...

...turned 50 just recently. And yes, they're in the electricity business. Or telephones and stuff. Well, I thought the stamp from Tim Holtz was perfect, anyhow! :)

Lots of flowers, even though it was a card for a man, but he turned 50 and I thought that called for flowers. Many flowers. I don't know what he thought of the card, because I have forgotten to ask my dad about it - will have to make a mental note to ask him. ;)

I've made this with materials from Pyssloteket, so if you want to know more about what I've used, check out the blog!

Take care!

Summer & Love

Svensk Scrapbooking's message board is hosting a Midsummer crop, and I'm joining in with all the fun! There are 13 challenges + 2 challenges for children up to 16, so there are plenty of different challenges to choose from if you don't have time to do them all.

This layout is for a challenge called "Summer love":

I just love this picture - I snapped it a couple of weeks ago when it was a wonderful and warm summer's day...

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #25

This week it's all about lace and ribbon over at TPSC - the first is not a problem for me; I use it all the time, but ribbon... That was a little bit of a challenge! ;) What about you - do you use both or just one of them - or none?

Here's my card with adorable Lil Pinkette Tom Boyz Coraline:

If you want to join this week's challenge, move on to TPSC to use Mr. Linky to add your creation. Remember that you have to use a stamp from Tickled Pink to be able to join! You can find all the information you need in the blog.

Take care and for everyone celebrating tomorrow - Happy Midsummer!!!

Reading at CSD

It's time for the third challenge of the month over at Candy Shoppe Designs - if you join all three you have a bigger chance to win a guest spot in our team, so get going! Clicketi-click!

My layout for this challenge is this:

Lots of white space and a bunch of flowers, a tag and some string. Pretty clean and simple - I love to scrap this way at times.

The book is the last book of eleven in a series called "Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind. It's taken me a couple of years to get through all books - I think I started reading them when Kajsa was a baby... Since she's been born I'm too tired in the evenings to read more than a few pages, so that's why it's taken so long. I realise though, that I'm reading more and more now during the evenings, because it's sooooo thrilling!!! :D

Take care!

Midsummer Crop at SS

Svensk Scrapbooking's message board is hosting a midsummer crop this week, and I couldn't help joining in. This is my first creation, a layout about Kajsa:

Come home, mum - we have chocolate noms!

The layout is made from a sketch - I just love sketches! Whenever I feel I've lost my mojo I look for a sketch and start from there. Usually that gets me going again. :)

Why don't you join the crop as well? CLICK HERE! :D

Take care!

Smash it in!

Have you tried the new products from K & Co, called Smash? I have, and I must say that it's not a masterpiece, far from, but it's not supposed to be one:

You're meant to just smash in little bits and pieces in your book - pics, tickets, receipts, doodles, you name it! - and let it be a true scrapbook. What I like about this one is that you can bring it with you wherever you go, because there is a pen/gluestick that goes with the book, which makes it easy to smash at any time.

I've used one of the pads from Smash - Family - and a piece of the tape that is availiable ("Like a lot") as well as some materials from Pyssloteket - ribbons and alphabet stickers from My Little Shoebox.

The picture is of me, 21 years ago, when I graduated upper secondary/high school. My nickname was Junior, because I was the youngest in our class (I have always been). ;)

Now I'm off to enjoy yet another day of my summer holidays...
Take care!

CSD challenge - Pinterest

The girls (including me) over at Candy Shoppe Designs are back! Go check out what the girls have created here. The current challenge is to get inspired by something on Pinterest, and I found this great wall hanging that I couldn't resist:

The hanging says:

"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about"

And here is my layout inspired by that quote:

The title is a song title that says (roughly translated) "I'm going to paint the whole world, dear mum" - and that is exactly what Kajsa is doing in the pictures. At least she's starting with her white tights... *insert rolling eyes here* Oh dear... ;) Maybe she's a bit too colourful to be wearing just white?

Take care!

Not at all in Distress

Nope - it was a FINE day - take a look:

Me, dearest Annika and the man himself - Tim Holtz! A day of workshops, shopping, loads of inspiration and FUN! A day that had to end up in my scrapbook - of course. ;)

This layout is created for Pyssloteket, so if you are interested in what materials I've used you can check out the blog for more details.

Take care and have a lovely Sunday!

Graduation card

Today we celebrated Thimmy, who graduated yesterday. The sun was shining, the food was gorgeous and the day was absolutely perfect! I made him this card:

Good Luck Thimmy

...and Kajsa was this happy:

She had loads of balloons to play with, and she popped all of them - he last one in the car on our way home... Oh, the joy! ;)

Take care!

Guess what...?

I won! :D

My Little Girl

This layout was ALSO made for Magda's Scrapfever - I really liked how it turned out with the stamping, the colours and the flowers. I've also realised that I'm in a brads period right now - I LOVE using them!!

The ones I've used on this layout are from My Mind's Eye - Stella & Rose. Aren't they just yummy?! :D

Take care!
