Gotland Summer of 2013

Me and my daughter's first trip ever to Gotland was last summer. We visited some dear friends of mine who have a house in the south parts of the island. The weather was fantastic and we had a lovely time - we were invited to come again, so we have tickets booked for this summer, too! :)

I have used some old Echo Park papers, wood veneer and some of the new Prima flowers. I just LOVE the pastel feeling on the page - it gets me in summer mode again!! :D

Girl's Night Out

A girl's night out with a couple of beers, something nice to eat, and fun company - that's one of the best things I know! A night last autumn me and Malin had the chance to have one of those lovely nights. We went to a restaurant in my neighbourhood and enjoyed our evening - as you can see an open shrimp sandwich was on the menu.

I have created my page using almost only products from Prima Marketing - stencil, Color Bloom spray, patterned papers and embellishments.

Workshop with Frank Garcia

On Wednesday I'm attending a workshop with Prima Marketing's designer Frank Garcia - a super talented crafter. I hadn't really expected to go to this workshop, so when a sweet friend helped me I seized the opportunity!! Thank you, Nina!

Romantic Envelope Card

Spring, early summer, summer - it's time for weddings!

Since I find Prima's lovely patterned papers so romantic, I made an envelope card in earth tones - a card that could suit a bride and groom. The card is one 12x12 inch patterned paper folded into an envelope and inside it there is a card, cut from white cardstock, on which you can write your congratulations.

If I don't get a wedding invitation within the near future, I can always use this card for something else, as I haven't put any text on it. Clever, isn't it? ;)

Chai & Chocolate

I love chai latte and chocolate. A combination of the two is heaven for me - a luxury that I enjoy sometimes. Not just any chocolate - I LOVE Lindt's chocolate. :)

Kajsa - the Ice Cream Lover

My daughter loves ice cream - like most kids - and on this page I have combined her pink/white/green ice cream with a perfect patterned paper from Basic Grey. The colours were spot on! I topped the page with a big star and a flower arrangement with a big, pink flower from Prima Marketing at the centre of attention.

My Fairy Princess

My daughter Kajsa loves to dress up. She loves to paint and craft too. Today's layout is proof that it's absolutely possible to combine the two things - a fairy princess painting. :) I just love to Photoshop my photos so that they fit my projects. For this page I used a photo that I had brightened up a bit so it has a more pastel feeling to it.

It's May!! How ever did that happen, I wonder...? Don't get me wrong, I love May, I love this time of year, but time really rushes by! New month means new challenge @ Hobbyworld, and this month we're doing a scrap lift of one of my own layouts. The original page looks like this:

Kurs med Frank Garcia från Prima Marketing!

Onsdag den 14 maj kl. 18:30 kommer jag sitta som ett ljus i skolbänken. Eller, skolbänken är väl att ta i, men jag ska gå en kurs. Inte vilken kurs som helst, utan en sån där "once in a lifetime"-kurs med Frank Garcia som flyger in från USA för att hålla kurs med Prima Marketings produkter. Vi ska få göra en mixed media-LO och det blir ett tillfälle att få vara kreativ, träffa likasinnade och bara insupa massor med inspiration! Åh, vad jag längtar! :D

Måndag den 19 maj kl 18:30 är det ännu en kurs med samme Frank Garcia från Prima, men denna gång är det ett minialbum som ska läras ut. Jag är tyvärr inte anmäld till den kursen, men är helt säker på att den kommer att vara lika rolig och inspirerande som den första kursen. Hade jag haft möjlighet hade jag DEFINITIVT gått på den också. Vet att några av mina vänner i scrapvärlden kommer att gå på båda... ;)

Vi kommer att hålla till på Cervins väg 15 i Spånga, men det är Pyssloteket som står som värd för evenemanget. Du kan också köpa din kursplats via Pysslotekets webbshop, och det finns platser kvar!! Pris per kurs är 695 kr men då ingår också material från Prima Marketing till ett värde av nästan 900 kr!

Nu blev jag så pysselsugen av att skriva detta blogginlägget att jag är tvungen att pyssla lite! *hehe*
