Good Night My Treasure

Good Morning!

Today I'm showing you a page with a lot of the new Art basics, Art ingredients, and Art extravagance from Prima Marketing. I have made a mess, dried, sprayed, dried again, and sprayed some more etc. Many layers with colour and splashes, plus some more mediums (i.e. texture paste with a sandy texture) and coloured glitter. On this layout I have made my own background and have let the patterned paper become part of the decorations for a change.

I realised, after the layout was done, that I've stamped the wrong date on it... ;) Well, well, I'll just have to live with that, don't I?

Card for a 60-year-old

Sometimes I forget...

This time I forgot to post this card that I made for Hobbyworld a couple of weeks ago - a card for my uncle's wife who turned 60 recently! My mum wanted a card to go with the gift, and of course I made her one!

I just love those fold foil Thickers from American Crafts - they add a bit of flair to any project, right? As you can see, I've used a bit of paint on the card, as well as on the flowers. It's not entirely visible, but I mixed some of the new art basics / art extra vagance products to spruce up the white flowers. Prima Marketing is absolutely one of my favourite manufacturers in the scrapbooking business. They have so many fun products - sprays, mediums, flowers, patterned papers etc. etc. What more can a scrap crazy girl ask for?! ;)

Project Life - In Rome

A couple of days ago I posted two mini PL pages on Hobbyworld's blog, so maybe it's time to show them here as well? I just love the simplicity of Project Life - just use some journaling cards and photos, add some journaling/text and maybe some stickers or other flat embellishments, and then you're done!

I like to do these small pages as well as the bigger (12 x 12 inches) ones - I like the variation. Sometimes I just want to document a certain day, and it might be enough with a mini page. If I want to document a whole week I would probably choose a 12 x 12 page so that I have plenty of room for what I want to share.

PL is such a great complement to "ordinary" scrapbooking - even if I don't have every week of my life documented, I still have little bits and pieces - and I really enjoy the process of making these pages, too. :)

A lost tooth

Today I'm showing you a layout that I have created for Hobbyworld using supplies from Crate paper's collection Notes & things - patterned papers and lovely embellishments. I thought they worked perfectly with the photographs of my daughter that were just waiting to be scrapped - pale pastels and a few pops of colour together with a touch of gold.
