I've tried taking some pictures with my iPhone, and I'm very happy with it! These two pictures are of my family; Kajsa and dear husband:

New Toy

I now have my new iPhone and I want to explore all the things I can do with it. Too bad the day doesn't have more hours. ;)

Today I took my mum to one of the nearby malls and we did some shopping. I bought some clothes for Kajsa and some for dear husband. Mum bought me lunch and we had a nice day strolling around chatting and shopping. A real feelgood day. ♥

Date night recap

Okay, so you want to know everything about last night?? Well, I'll not give EVERYTHING away ;) but I WILL tell you about the wonderful food. It was a very well composed menu with carefully selected wines to go with each of the courses - a sensation of flavours!! The students were absolutely amazing - they did a great job.

For those of you who didn't know - we went to have dinner at my school - our restaurant students kept the school restaurant open for anyone to come and eat. We just couldn't resist that!

Oh, you're waiting to read the menu? Here it is:

* Asparagus and cheese with walnuts

* Lobster Thermidor

* Poached brill with butter and horseradish, served with boiled potatoes

* Grilled duck with orange sauce, beets and couscous

* Chocolate and hazelnut soufflé with raspberry sauce

Are you envious? You should be - it was HEAVEN!!

Birthday Card

A close relative turns 84 today and I sent him this card, since he lives about 450 kilometers from us and we can't celebrate him in person. I hope he has a good day up in the snowy north of Sweden. Well, it's snowy here as well, but, anyway... ;)


I really look forward to spring now - all this snow is making me CRAZY. I don't like it...

I participated in a challenge over at designat with this LO - it was made after a sketch, and I quite like all the colours in it. Not my usual colours.


Kajsa just loved sitting in the hammock during the summer of 08 - making us swing her all the time. She even fell asleep there a couple of times. ;)

Doesn't it make you long for summer and sunshine? I do...

Hello-card

This last weekend was absolutely scrap crazy over at Magdas message board! One of the cards I made for a challenge was this:


You were supposed to get you inspiration from a picture, so I picked up the colours and some of the shapes. I really liked the challenge - but it was a hard one!! Black-white-red is not my usual colours. ;)

A Scrappy Weekend

Beautiful Child

I've used some of the gorgeous papers from Pink Paislee's Valentine Collection - it's truly beautiful. ALMOST as beautiful as Kajsa. ;) The picture is taken on Midsummer's Eve last year, as we are enjoying our lunch outside on the veranda.

A Real Challenge

At the crop in Ärla this last weekend, we tried our best to challenge each other into doin stuff we didn't usually do. Malin gave me a challenge that was to scrap with lots of black, bling and rock stuff - the way Malin would like it (she's a TRUE rock chick!). This is my take on her challenge - it passed! ;)


I've used my Tim Holtz sprocket gears for the first time - I'd forgotten I had them, how embarrasing!!!

The Flu and New Creations

I've caught a cold, so I'm staying at home at the moment to get better. Today is slightly better than yesterday, so I'll stay at home tomorrow as well. Hopefully I'll be back at work on Thursday - I get so stressed out when I'm away from work!!

Well, enough waffling about that - here's one of the creations I did this weekend, at the crop in Ärla:


Maybe a box that I can put something in and give away for Valentine's? Yep, that's a good idea! :)
