...Tim Holtz - and I'm SO envious!! She had a great time crafting and as you can see she had her picture taken with the man himself. What a treat for her - she's been working SO hard and I'm really glad she had he opportunity of attending one of his workshops when he was in England in February.

It was a no-brainer - I HAD to scrap it:


I used a gorgeous patterned paper from Scribble Scrabble and made a DT-layout for Brunkullan - and it's in my favourite colours!

My friend Nina - who frequently asks me if I can make cards for her relatives, friends - asked me if I could make a card for her mother-in-law. She wanted it in brown hues and said I could make it anyway I wanted to - so this is it! She was very happy with it, and so was I!

This is my second contribution to the crop at pyssel.net - the challenge was to scrap with white and only ONE more colour, and very little of that one. This is my take, and it was given to my mother-in-law when we celebrated her birthday not long ago. :)

Beautiful Child

There has been a crop over at pyssel.net and I made two creations. One of them is this layout, one that I actually managed to win the challenge with!!!! I'm soooo happy about that, because the contributions to that challenge were awesome!

Cards from a creative weekend

This weekend has been overly creative and wonderful! Dear Annika and Lillpiga has been here to spend time with me - we've been chatting, laughing, playing Wee Sing, eating lots of good stuff, drinking wine, and OF COURSE we've been scrapping!

Easter Bunny?

The Craft Witch

A visit

...to grandma and grandpa is always popular - both Kajsa and her grandparents love it. Perhaps they love it even more when we leave, because she is EVERYWHERE when she's there. She wants to play with everything, not just her toys. Grandma's kitchen utensils and flowers/plants, grandpa's tools (not a very good idea!) and the number one favourite; standing on a chair so she can splash around in the sink. She LOVES water.

I usually bring an extra set of clothes when we go there... ;)

13 months old

Another one of the layouts I made during the crop in Kolbäck - this one is made after a sketch, and we challenged each other to create a layout based on the sketch in under 30 minutes. Yep, we used a timer and everything! :) I just LOVE to do time challenges, because then you don't sit around for hours just choosing your patterned paper or what photographs to choose. This way you get started, you usually find your flow and it's easy to continue creating. It must have been the first of all the things I created during the weekend. My total was:

6 layouts
7 cards
1 altered sketch book (using a BIA)
1 bookmark

Pretty good, don't you think? The good thing is that I had fun making everything, and I was very happy with the result too!

I hope I'll find some more scraptime this coming week - I have loads of challenges I want to do!

I haven't forgotten about my blog - I've been away on a weekend crop, and I have a visitor from England here, so blogging time is limited.

This weekend was very productive and I came home with a total of 6 layouts, 7 cards, 1 bookmark and 1 sketchbook (a Bind-it-All project) so I definitely have loads to show you - I just need to have all of them photographed. I think Annika is going to do that during the day, so you'll probably see some of the new things here soon. :)

To give you a quick recap of the weekend: scrap, great company, shopping, challenges, lots of laughter, smoke breaks, little sleep, more laughter, wonderful food, and sunshine. I felt like I was hungover yesterday - I had a scrap hangover, I think.

Tonight me, Annika, and a couple of friends are going out for dinner to Texas Longhorn. I guess I'll be stuffed tonight when I get back home...
