Well, I promised you some brain eating, and here it is:
I made it after a few days of very little sleep, a VERY cranky little girl who took out almost all of her frustration on me (not her dad or anyone else - at least not to the same extent), and I was just so drained of energy. It took me hours to finish - and I'm usually a fast scrapper who finishes a layout in about 30-60 minutes. It was therapeutic and it felt good to make it - I needed to get it out of my system, so to speak.
Don't get me wrong - I love my little girl more than everything in the universe, and I know that I'm the best mother Kajsa can have - but sometimes you need some me-time. Some time alone. That makes me a better mother, I believe. ♥
Yep, Kajsa likes to bake with her mum - this layout's title is from the lyrics of a very famous Swedish song that we use to sing for Christmas:
Roughly it says: A confectioner lives in this town. Anyway - I hope you can enjoy the layout even though you haven't heard the song... ;) I just love the colours in this layout - dark brown, white, and turquoise are great together, I think!
This is an older layout that I've forgot to show you... Sometimes I'm a bit... forgetful... I didn't forget this much stuff before I became pregnant with Kajsa, but since then... My god - I think the pregnancy ate some of my brain cells...
About eating brains - I have a layout on the subject coming up soon. It was kind of therapeutic to make - you'll see... ;)
I made this simple mini with pictures of Kajsa to give to her childminder, now when she's moving to a daycare center. It's tough to leave the childminder, since she was THE BEST, but we hope that the new daycare will be at least ALMOST as good - and I have confidence that Kajsa will fit in just fine there. She seems to like it so far. :)
