A thousand thank you - card I made for a challenge on pyssel.net some time ago - I just love the resin decorations from Prima! White and light blue or turquoise has always been a very nice combination and I go back to it ever so often!
My daughter Kajsa munching on a piece of spongecake I love to bake (and eat!) - chocolate with chocolate frosting and shredded coconut on top. It has a lot of names in Sweden, and I usually call it Coconut squares or Love yummies (difficult to translate, as you might understand - all you Swedes know what I'm talking about!). ;)
Lots of flowers and bling, as well as gesso and washi tape - some of my favourites at the moment!
...just gives me more and more ideas! Things to improve, things to paint, colours I like... The new IKEA catalogue arrived yesterday and I used my lunch hour today to browse through it. Oh the ideas!!
Some of my favourites at the moment:
These would go nicely in my home - I fell in love with the painting last time I visited IKEA and I really want it on my bedroom wall, since I have nothing there at the moment. I need the cupboard for all of my nice wine glasses and cocktail glasses - right now I have them stowed away since I don't h ave anywhere to put them. The cupboard is the same style as my TV bench and coffee table, so it would fit in very well!
My crafty corner in my bedroom is getting a make over as well - so far I've painted two tables and bought a new corner table for my computer, so I'm getting there... One piece at the time!
With this I might need to get some colourful chairs - there's a lot of white, but I really like it! That way the only clutter of colours will be my creative mess! ;-)

For Midsummer this year I made this strawberry cake - yum! I have made it a couple of times before, and this year my brother and his wife asked me if I could make it again. Doh! OF COURSE! I love the heap of strawberries covering the strawberry mousse and the sticky chocolate with Daim crunch underneath...
This layout is the last one I show you from Scrap-Perra's Summer Crop - I just love crops with loads of challenges and a kit to create from! This crop had fun and inspiring challenges and I'm really glad I had time to participate during the summer! :-D
The challenge at Scrap-Perra's was "Princes and Princesses", and that was EASY! ;-) I have TONS of photos of Kajsa to create something with... This layout turned out to be very pink and girly - but I like that! It gives me a chance to use flowers (and other girly decos) in excess, though I don't think this is exaggerated in that sense.
Veckans skiss is hosting a summer challenge, and I've created a layout after a FUN sketch!
You had some things you had to include in your creation, such as colour (I've used distress stains), at least two different fonts, at least five different colours, something that has been cur out (the cloud), and something that you would usually not have on a layout (I added a pencil).
She was just a little puppy when the pic was taken - now she's a big girl - still as mischievous... The layout was one of the creations I made for the Summer Crop at Scrap-Perra's message board - the challenge was FACE. ;-) What better than that cute little face?
A card with butterflies - stamped with Distress Markers:
I just love how you can colour directly onto your stamp and make it so much more alive!! Now I have to learn how to colour stamped motifs as well - with a water brush and all that jazz... Not my strongest side of crafting, I can tell you that much!!
There are loads of girls out there who are AMAZINGLY talented - just take a look at the tutorial in Asamias blog - it makes me think I can actually LEARN how to... ;-) Thank you, Åsa, for that tutorial!!
A little gift box to give away to someone who deserves something extra:
I didn't put any text on the box, just because I wanted to be able to add that when I know who's going to have it. ;-) Sometimes you need to have a few cards and gift boxes ready for those moments when you realise that you don't have the time to do it.
Go and check out Pyssloteket's blog if you want to know the details and materials used for this box!
I've been pretty occupied this summer - toilet training with Kajsa, a 10-day-trip to England, friends & family - but now I'm at home again, and life is almost back to normal. The only thing that's not normal is that I'm still on summer holidays!! :-)
This layout describes parts of my summer - chilling on my balcony:
I've made this layout for the Summer Crop at Scrap-Perra's and I still have several more things to show you from that crop! :-)
