Mother's Day for Hobbyworld

Today is Mother's Day in Sweden and I've made my mum a card to go with her gift. I've used some lovely patterned papers from Pion Design on my card - I just love their collection Paris Flea Market - isn't it GORGEOUS?!

If you want to know more about my card (such as what supplies I've used), you are SO welcome to visit Hobbyworld's blog!

Take care!

Travel Journal @ Hobbyworld

Today's post @ Hobbyworld is about my new travel journal:

Some gesso, modeling paste and Prima's watercolor pencils made the background and then I embellished with supplies from My Mind's Eye's collection "Hello World!" - love it! You can get far with a pretty blank background and some rub-ons and stickers. ;)

Take care!

Me and my Crew - silly photo

Some weeks ago, I went to a crop together with over 60 other girls/women/ladies - we had a fab weekend and we had time to do more than just cutting and pasting. One of the talented scappers there, Lisa Nygårds, had arranged for us to take silly photos. OF COURSE many of us used these fun pictures on layouts... Here is the pic me and a few of my scrap friends:

Don't we look awesome and cool...? ;)

Thanks for the visit!

Take care!

A Card - and - what is my style?

I think I made today's card after a sketch - that will have to explain the unusual layout of the card - for being me! I've realised time and time again, that I have my "style" my way of creating, and I (and many of my fellow scrapbookers) can often notice the little things that signifies someone's scrap style. One thing that reveals me is my love of drawing a thin line around the patterned paper, as to enforce the feeling of a frame. That's one thing. Another thing is my handwriting - it gives me away s well... :)

Can you see any of the things that reveals me...?

Thanks for the visit!

Take care!

Summer Party PL @ Hobbyworld

Today I'm showing you a page in my large Project Life album - 12x12. I have both a small album and this one, and I make pages in both whenever I feel like it. I don't do one page every week, I just make a page on anything, when want to. Today's page is about Kajsa's last summer party at daycare in June 2014 - together with Julius, of course! :)

Thank you so much for your visit! :D

Dad's 66th birthday

In March, my dad had his 66th birthday and I made him this card:

A pretty simple card where I used a die and a punch to create layers with shapes in black and white. I just love the dotted paper and the black and white together with the turquoise/teal.

A group challenge LO

A while ago I attended a big crop here in Stockholm - a whole weekend full of crafting, chatting, laughing and loads of challenges. One of the challenges my dear friend Malin - Lillpiga came up with, and it was a challenge we did with the ladies around "our" table.

The challenge was to pick out a photo and to pass it to the person sitting on your left. This person had 8 minutes to start a layout and when those 8 minutes had passed, that person passed the layout along to the next person on their left. That person had 8 minutes - and so it continued... At the end I had 8 minutes to finish the layout with my photo on it - and it turned out like this:

This challenge was AWESOME - it was difficult, fun, but most of all - it produced sooo many stunning layouts, it's amazing!! We were all blown away, I think. A really fun way of creating together - it forces you to think out of the box, and also NOT to think/plan so much, but to just go with your creative flow...! :)

Try it - you might like it!

Take care!

For You - a card for Hobbyworld

Today's blog post is a card made for Hobbyworld - a card that can be used for a birthday, Mother's day or any occasion really - hence the text "for you".

I have coloured the stamp image with Prima Marketing watercolor pencils - they are oh, so yummy to play with! I use watercolour paper and a waterbrush from Prima Marketing - I love not having to dip my brush into water all the time, but to have the water IN the brush from the beginning. :)

For information about supplies - please feel free to visit Hobbyworld's blog. There are tons of inspiration to be found there, I promise! :D

Thank you for the visit!

Take care!

May Challenge @ Hobbyworld

It's time for the May Challenge @ Hobbyworld, and this month we have a sketch for you, drawn by the talented Tesa:

My take on the sketch is a card that I've made through stamping with craft paint from Martha Stewart. I used plastic lids in different sizes to stamp the background. To place the text (Happy Birthday Patrik) i drew line with a pencil, then glued the stickers down, and then erased the pencil line.

You have the chance to enter the challenge until May 21, so you'll have plenty of time to get creative! I can't wait to see the interpretations of the sketch!! :D

Take care!
