Cute little cards

A couple of cards that I've made - I just love the small size of these. Small and cute!

The first card I gave to a colleague just because she made me smile (unfortunately she does not work with me anymore) and the second I sent to one of my girlfriends who has known me for over 20 years. Scary. We must be getting older. ;-)

Pieces of my life

My Sn@p albums hold a lot of  memories - everyday moments and travels, I like the mix because that's what life is all about. Days with Kajsa - doing things at home or going out on adventures, or traveling on my own, seeing good friends and having fun - that's my life (AND work and chores, of course ;-)

Champagne with Annika

One of my best friends is Annika. She is a wonderful friend - thoughtful, fun, caring, clever, and generous. She lives in England, and if I'm lucky I see her about once or twice a year. The summer of 2015 we had a wonderful time - one day we spent in Birmingham shopping and pausing for some champagne... We DO know how to have a good time, don't we. ;-)

The picture is taken @ The Balcony Champagne bar in the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham. We'll go there next time, too - won't we, Annika? Love you, darling!

Walking in London - PL

I have soooo many photos from my trips to England, and I will never run out of them - that's good, because I love to create with them. These pictures throws me back to one of my favourite places in the world, and they have me longing for my next trip there! :D

First post of 2016 and a challenge

This year's first post - welcome 2016 - may the year be a happy and creative one! 

I've just finished a card that I've made for the current challenge @ Scrap & ting - the challenge was to create something from a bingo card:

Top left to right: sewing machine - coffee stains - borrowed

Mid left to right: new - worn - wood

Bottom left to right: newspaper clipping - lace - shimmer

I've chosen new - worn - wood and I made this card:

I've used my new map stamp, I made the edges of the map look worn, and I added a little wooden aeroplane to complete my card. :) I coloured the map using my Distress Markers, and I attached the image to a black card base. Simple, yet not too simple.
