Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #8

Hi everyone!

It's time for another Challenge over at Tickled Pink's Challenge blog - this time it's all about tags!


I don't make tags that often, but it's a fun way of being creative - it's quicker than making a card or a layout, so it feels like a smaller project for me - and you can use the for so much. Put a tag on a gift or a bottle of wine when you're off to dinner at a friend's house, or use your tag as a bookmark.

The stamp I've used here is Lil Allsorts Emilio, which you can buy either on rubber or as a digi stamp - isn't that neat?

Kenny K stamps challenge

I could not resist any more. I had to buy a couple of Kenny K stamps and join in with challenge #33 at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #33! :D

The challenge was to use something beginning with R on your cards - and I used red, roses, and rhinestones on this one:

Now I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'm the lucky one who wins MORE digis from Kenny K! ;)

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #7

It's time for a new challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge, and this week the challenge is to use FABRIC in some way. Here is what I created:

I don't think I've ever used fabric on any of my cards or layouts, so I had a hard time deciding what to do. I found a piece of an old sheet - pale blue - and realised I didn't want that colour at all, so I coloured it with my Copics! I cut it up in little flags and glued them to a piece of Scrapper's floss and then adhered it to my card. Yey!

Club Anya Challenge

I won last weeks Club Anya challenge with this card and I'm SO proud!!

Now I just want to colour more images, make more cards... Haven't done a layout in ages, it seems - but I'm usually like that. One period I make more cards and another period the layouts flood my crafty space. ;)

I have coloured this little cutie with my Copics and used my gorgeous Magnolia dies along with lace and some mulberry roses - a few of my absolute favourite things to use!

Colouring and Card making

I'm at a friend's house this weekend with another friend - we're having a proper GIRLY WEEKEND!!! :D

I have coloured some digi stamps and made a few cards, but I can't show them just yet, so you'll have to make do with this little cutie for now...

Punches at Tickled Pink

This is my very first post with a card made for Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge blog, and I've used the cutest Lil Fashionette - 30s Lylah for it.

The challenge this week is to use PUNCHES - and as you can see I've used a border punch and a flower punch to decorate my card. What you might not see is the little butterflies I've punched out of plastic and put some Stickles on - top left corner, underneath and just above the big cluster of flowers is where you can find them. ;)

Double Up

This is one layout I did months ago - but I forgot to blog it... Oooops! ;) This is Kajsa, last spring, having fun in our garden. The title "Double Up" refers to the fact that there are two pictures of Kajsa, and there are two Kajsas in both pictures. Confusing? Not if you're Swedish - in Sweden we call Daisy Duck (look at Kajsa's knitted sweater) - yep, that's right - Kajsa. :)

I made this for Magda's scrapfeber, with the gorgeous kit that I bought especially for that crop - I think I still have some left of that kit - it was MASSIVE! :D

What is your favorite or most recent Etsy purchase and who are your favorite Etsy sellers?

I have never actually "discovered" Etsy, so I have not purchased anything, nor have I a favourite seller. Maybe it's for the better, since I really have to cut down on shopping... ;)

Did you marry your first true love?

Yes, I believe I do. I've had only one long relationship before I met my husband, but I think that was more of a puppy love relationship, even though it lasted for 6 years. I think that what me and my husband have together is special and precious, and he is my first TRUE love. He makes me laugh, and laughs with me when we're happy, he comforts me when I'm sad, and he loves and cares for his family in a way that really warms my heart. I love him deeply.

A story about a favorite pet:

My favourite pet's name is Måzart (almost like the composer Mozart), a striped grey and white cat. I bought him when I moved quite far from my hometown, to start my first job as a teacher. He kept me company and I never felt alone, even though I lived a long way from my family and old friends.

When I met my husband David and we decided to move in together, I had a big problem. David is allergic to animals with fur. Though, we solved it in the best way possible - Måzart moved in with my parents, and he is now my mother's little baby. She cares for him and they have their own routines and things they always do, and I think he's very happy there. Luckily my parent's house is only a 5-minute drive from us, so I can see him whenever I want. I always refer to him as my first born. ;)
